Renting a motel or hotel room for just a few hours or even overnight
is now common for many people. This type of lodging is becoming
more popular, making it easier to find a spot to relax when traveling far from home.
When you check into a motel or hotel, lots of folks often forget
to inspect the room. But this is something everyone should do.
In most hotel rooms, the television is an important item, usually
placed in the middle of the room across from the bed. This location makes
it simple for hidden cameras to be set up there. From where the TV sits,
cameras can easily capture images from all parts of the room. This allows
bad people to gather information about guests’ actions and privacy.
Also, putting a hidden recording device near the TV can make it hard for guests
to notice anything wrong. Camera technology has become smaller and wireless,
allowing them to send images over long distances easily. That makes hiding these devices simpler and harder to spot.
Both TVs and their boxes have infrared signals used by remote controls.
Bad guys take advantage of this by placing cameras right next to TVs since
those cameras also use infrared signals which can confuse guests during their inspection.
That’s why you should unplug your TV as soon as you arrive at a motel or hotel.
Once you’ve unplugged the TV, close your curtains, turn off all lights and switch on your phone’s
camera in video mode. Use your phone camera to record every corner of the room because these hidden
cameras have their own power source that isn’t connected with the TV; they will still work
normally when it’s unplugged! If you see any strange light spots on your phone screen, check those areas closely.
You can also use your phone’s flash light around different parts of
the room since hidden cameras are very sensitive and might reflect that light!
When looking around with just your eyes if you notice any blue
or red dots anywhere in sight then check those spots more carefully!

Besides checking out the TV area make sure you look at other items like pictures near beds flower vases potted plants night lights bathroom stuff… These are also places where sneaky hidden cams could be stashed away!
