There are a lot of home treatments and useful tips for everyday life that you can find online these days.

In the past, parents would teach their kids these kinds of tips and tricks. But when the internet came along, a lot of things became shared, most importantly information.

We’ve written about a lot of strange subjects in the past, but we’ve never talked about putting a clothespin on your shower head.

I’m going to be honest and say that this strange process made me scratch my head at first. “Why in the world would someone do that?” I told myself…

As is so often the case, though, time has helped me get over my ignorance and lack of patience.

There’s a good reason to put a clothespin on your shower head while you’re showering. In fact, if you ever find a clothespin there, you should probably praise your partner for being creative.

The main thing most of us think of when we see a clothespin is hanging clothes up to dry. Of course, these simple little tools can be used for something else: they can give your bathroom a refreshing lift.

Here’s what you need to do right away…

A wooden clothespin and an oil bottle with scents like peppermint, eucalyptus, and lavender are what you need.

First, soak your clothespin in the essential oil of your choice. Then, clip it to your shower curtain or shower head.

Finally, just turn on your shower like you normally would. By covering your clothespin in scent, the steam that comes out should spread that smell around. You’ve now made a homemade fragrance diffuser that will make your shower experience even more luxurious.

Not sure about us? Try it out and let us know how it goes. It’s always surprising how simple hacks, which usually involve everyday items, can make a big difference.
